Our Story

I’m a passionate fisherman. I’ve always been fascinated by the glistening elegance of a fish when it’s pulled from the water. The exhilaration of the chase, the fight, and ultimately the reward of seeing that fish in the light and studying it’s raw, natural beauty. It really began when I lived in Southern Florida, targeting largemouth bass and alligator garfish. When I lived in Virginia I continued freshwater fishing into my late teens then began fishing the brackish waters in the Potomac River, and later the salt within the Chesapeake Bay.

We are a family that loves to fish together. My wife and I have a place right on the Chesapeake Bay. We love to host our growing family and spend long weekends out on the Bay catching striped bass, speckled trout, flounder, Spanish mackerel, croaker, and redfish, or tubing and kayaking in the channels. The beauty of these fish is always the star of the show.

That beauty has always captivated me, and I have always held onto the dream of sharing a brand with the world that celebrates that passion. My vision has always been to show off the beauty of these fish in a bright, vibrant, artistically unique style and to display fish which are not traditionally shown on apparel. FISKA is the culmination of that vision.

FISKA is committed to producing high-quality products using the best materials and processes. We know you will be satisfied with the results. FISKA is not a “fishing” apparel brand nor is it tailored for a specific gender or age. FISKA is uniquely designed to show off the beauty of fish and our brand itself. Most of our clothing is dye sublimated which means the actual fibers within the shirt are dyed allowing overall superior comfort and breathability while retaining long-lasting vibrant colors. It’s also very practical as it sports a UPF 50+ rating for sun protection.

Please share with us your experiences with our clothing. We’d love to hear from you! Keep having fun adventures outside, and look great doing it in your FISKA gear!
